Solar and Lunar

Viewing the moon is usually the first place people slew to when trying out a telescope. It’s the most identifiable and brightest object in our night sky making it easy to find and see close up. It also makes for great pictures.

Solar is a different area all together and should NOT be attempted unless you take the proper precaution and use the right filters to safely view. With that in mind, once you do take the proper precautions, it makes for beautiful views and images of our closest star.
